The short answer
Water inside the cabinet or on the floor: on an Icyglee refrigerator that is usually a blocked defrost drain, not a cracked evaporator pan behind the panel. The next thing to rule out is humid air condensing past a bad seal. Work the order below -- cheap causes first, the one that is not an owner fix last.
What you are looking at
- A puddle appears on the floor at the front — It returns within a day of being mopped.
- There is a sheet of ice on the freezer floor — Melt water froze where it pooled.
- The trim or the door sweats — Water forms on the outside rather than inside.
- NEAR MISS -- the floor is wet and the cabinet interior is bone dry — That points at the supply line or the pan, not at the defrost drain.
Causes, most likely first on this kind of unit
- The defrost drain is blocked or frozen — Melt water from each defrost has one route out. Ranked first: on an Icyglee beverage cabinet that is opened all day, it is the single most common source of water in a refrigerator, and clearing it is owner work.
- The door seal is letting humid air in — A leaking gasket admits warm humid air that condenses on the nearest cold surface. This rank, because condensed room air is water that never came from a pipe, which is why the supply looks fine.
- The cabinet is not level — Drain troughs and pans rely on a level cabinet to carry water to the right place. Ranked here because a tilt sends water the wrong way even with a perfectly clear drain.
- The trough or evaporator pan behind the panel — A cracked interior trough, a failed drain heater or a split hose behind the rear panel needs the panel off and the compartment thawed to reach. It comes last because it needs a panel off and a meter on a heater circuit, which is why it is last.
Check in this order, and why
- Look in the trough and at the drain mouth — Ice or sludge at the drain, with water standing in the trough, is the confirmation.
- Paper-test the gasket and look for sweat — Water or frost at one corner, with a seal that fails the paper test there, is your answer.
- Only after the accessible drain is proven clear — Water returning with a clear drain, a level cabinet and a good seal points behind the panel -- a service call.
What an owner can safely check
- Mop up, then find out where it returns first — Dry inside and out, then check both in an hour; where it reappears names the source.

- Clear the defrost drain from inside — Flush the trough with warm water and clear the drain mouth gently; never force a wire through it.

- Paper-test the door seal and level the cabinet — Fix a failing seal stretch and set the feet so the cabinet sits level front to back.

- STOP HERE -- the next step needs the rear panel off — Interior troughs, drain heaters and hoses behind the panel are technician work.
Before you open anything
Safety
Power off at the plug or the breaker before any panel comes off.
When to call a technician
Call once the condenser, the seal, the set point and a full defrost are all ruled out.

What this page does not cover
This page covers the Icyglee refrigerator as a class, not one family or model line. Where a family- or model-specific page exists for your unit it is the more specific answer -- go there first if your model is named. Deliberately not here: drain-trough geometry, heater part numbers, panel-removal order and fitting sizes, all of which differ by family.
