Before assuming the worst about a loud Elisii unit, run it empty once. Noise that disappears with no dishes in it was never a machine fault: it was a spray arm striking a handle or a tray resonating. Noise that survives an empty cycle has a short list of causes, and the ranking below is ordered for this format.
Symptoms, including the ones that mean something else
- A drone that changes pitch when you touch the cabinet — Vibration conducted into joinery rather than a fault inside the machine.
- A loud hum or buzz at the drain phase only — The drain pump labouring against a restriction, or an obstruction at the impeller.
