The short answer
The Criterion MAV family is a single washer, but its designation is a long compound string ending in a market and revision suffix — and that suffix decides which parts fit. What you observe
- No panel light and no sound — Outlet, plug, cord or breaker.

- Water supply closed or restricted — Fourth: a machine that waits for water reads as a machine that will not start.

Unplug the washer or switch off its breaker before removing any panel; a capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off, and the motor and its control restart on their own when power returns. Shut the hot and cold taps before opening anything behind the machine, never defeat the lid or door interlock to watch a cycle run, and get a second person before walking a loaded machine out.

When to call a technician
Outlet testing, lid checks and clearing a control lock are owner work. Call a technician once those are clear: the interlock switch, the motor circuit and the control all mean opening a machine that must be isolated first. Call at once if the outlet is warm, the plug is discoloured, or the breaker trips again after a reset.
