The short answer
Water from a Cooluli refrigerator is usually water the cabinet made on purpose that then went the wrong way, rather than water escaping from a pipe. On this class the usual cause is condensation forming on the cold plate of the module, with a cabinet closed in so tightly that it sweats on the outside next to rule out, and both are owner checks.
What you actually observe
- The inside of the cabinet is beaded with water — A cold plate with no defrost sweats, and in a humid room it always will.
- Standing water under the crisper drawers — Water inside the cabinet is a drain story almost every time.
- NEAR MISS: the cabinet is warm as well as wet — Then cooling is the primary fault and the leak is a symptom of it, so read the cooling page first.
The causes, most likely first on this brand
- Condensation forming on the cold plate of the module — Ranked first on a Cooluli unit: there is no defrost of any kind on this class, so a cold plate in a humid room sweats continuously and that is the whole story.
- A cabinet closed in so tightly that it sweats on the outside — A unit with no air gap runs warm and damp on its own shell, and the water that then appears at the base is condensation rather than a leak. Ranked second here: heat and moisture rejected into a cupboard come straight back to the cabinet.
- Warm humid air condensing where a seal has failed — Ranked third here: the lid seal is the only insulation this class has in reserve.
- A cabinet tilted so water runs forward instead of draining — Ranked fourth here: last, and it decides only where the water that has already formed ends up.
Check in this order, and why this order
- Look for water in the base of the cabinet rather than under it — Condensate inside a cooler of this class is a humidity story and not a fault.
- Feel whether the outside of the cabinet is damp as well as the floor — Water on the outside skin is condensation and it is fixed with air rather than with parts.
- Shut a sheet of paper in the door and pull it out, working all four sides — A sheet that slides free marks a dead length of seal, and the corners give out before the faces do.
What an owner can safely check
- Wipe the base dry, leave the lid shut and keep the cabinet out of humid or steamy rooms — A cooler beside a kettle or in a bathroom will sweat whatever you do to it.
Tools: clothAbout 10 min
- Restore the air gap the installation calls for at the back and the sides — Also check nothing is stored on top of a freestanding unit.
About 20 min
- STOP HERE if the next step needs a meter on live terminals or a panel off — That is where an owner check ends and a service call begins.

Safety
Unplug the unit or switch off its breaker before any panel comes off or the cabinet is moved, and remember a capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. Water on a floor beside a powered appliance is a shock risk, so deal with the power before the puddle. Close the supply shut-off before disturbing any plumbing fitting.
When to call a technician
Call once the drain, the pan and the seal are all clean and the water is still arriving, because a weeping valve or a split liner needs the cabinet stripped. Call sooner if the water is near an outlet or has reached flooring that will not dry, since that damage outruns the repair. Bear in mind when you decide that a thermoelectric cooler has almost no serviceable parts, so the decision is repair the fan or replace the unit.

What this page does not cover
This page covers the Cooluli refrigerator as a class, not one family or model line. Drain routing, pan shape and filter head fittings all change from build to build and are deliberately not here. Where a family or model page exists for your unit, it is the more specific answer and the one to read first.
