The short answer
A Cixi Jiaxiong mini washer that will not empty is most often a gravity drain with nowhere to fall, with a kinked or trapped drain hose close behind. A mini washer is sold for small loads in small rooms, and nearly every complaint about one comes back to being asked for a load it was never built to take. Two of the four are owner work; the last one on the list is not, and knowing which is which saves the call-out.
What you observe
- Water standing in the tub at the end of the cycle — The machine finished its programme and the water did not leave.
- It drains, but slowly — A restriction rather than a blockage - the difference matters for where you look.

Causes, most likely first on this brand
- A gravity drain with nowhere to fall — First on this cabinet: there is no pump at all on this design, so the tub empties only if the hose outlet ends lower than the water in the tub - place it in a sink at the same height and nothing moves.
- A kinked or trapped drain hose — Second, and close behind: the hose is long, flexible and gets shut in a door, folded behind the machine or trodden on when a portable is wheeled back into its corner.
- The drain hose at the wrong height — Third: this is the cause people never suspect and it explains most of these: a hose looped too high gives the pump more lift than it has, and a hose lying too low siphons the tub empty while it is trying to wash.
- Debris across the drain outlet inside the tub — Last, and that is the whole point of the order: with no pump to push it through, even a small mat of lint over the outlet stops a gravity drain completely.

- Check the hose end is genuinely below the water level in the tub — On a gravity drain there is no pump to make up for it.
- Straighten the whole hose run and look behind the machine — Second because it is nearly as common and just as free.
- Check the hose outlet height before anything else — It costs nothing, it needs no tools, and it explains more of these than every component together.
What an owner can safely check
- Check where the drain hose outlet sits relative to the tub — Too high and the pump cannot lift it; too low and it siphons. Both look like a drainage fault.

Unplug the machine before opening any panel, before reaching into a pump filter and before tipping it to look underneath. This is an appliance that puts mains voltage within inches of standing water, and a capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off. Never defeat the lid or door interlock with tape, a magnet or a screwdriver: it exists to stop a tub turning while your hands are in it.
When to call a technician
Call when the hose falls properly, the run is straight, the outlet inside the tub is clear and it still will not empty. On a machine in this class that point is usually where repair stops making financial sense, so ask what it will cost before agreeing to anything.
