The short answer
Water from a Bell'O beverage centre is condensation the cabinet made itself, either running out of a blocked drain channel or forming on the outside of a cold glass door in a humid room. Neither is a plumbing fault. Find out whether the water is inside the cabinet or on its outer surfaces, because the two have entirely different fixes.
What you observe
- Water pooling in the base of the cabinet interior — Condensation that could not reach the drain.
- Beads of water on the outside of the glass door — Room humidity on a cold surface, which is not a fault.
- Damp or staining in the furniture beneath the unit — Water has been escaping for a while and the enclosure has absorbed it.
- NEAR MISS — water with drinks at room temperature — Then the cabinet has stopped cooling and the water is melted condensation.
Causes, most likely first on this brand
- A blocked drain channel or drain hole — First: the channel at the base of the rear wall is narrow, and dust, label paper and spilled drink block it easily. The water then backs up and runs forward into the cabinet base.
- Condensation on the outside of a cold glass door — Second, and not a fault at all. In a humid room a cold glass door collects water exactly like a cold glass of drink does, and the cure is ventilation and humidity rather than a repair.
- A unit that is not level in its furniture — Third. The drain path relies on gravity, so a cabinet packed level with card at the front and nothing at the back sends its condensation the wrong way.
- A door held ajar or a failed gasket — Fourth, always a contributing cause: more humid air entering means more condensation than the drain was designed to carry away.

- Decide whether the water is inside the cabinet or on its surfaces — Outside means humidity and needs no repair.
- Find and test the drain channel at the base of the rear wall — It is the likeliest internal cause and clears in minutes.
- Check the unit is level inside its enclosure — A forward tilt defeats the drain regardless of how clean it is.
- Inspect the door seal and how the door closes — It explains volume rather than blockage.

Unplug the unit before flushing the drain or reaching behind it — a capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off, and you will otherwise be handling water beside a live appliance inside furniture. Never push a sharp probe into the drain hole, because the cooling circuit runs behind that wall. Dry any water that has reached the furniture before it reaches a mains lead or an outlet.
When to call a technician
Call when the drain runs clear, the cabinet is level, the door seals, the room is ordinary, and water still collects inside. That points at the drain path or the cooling circuit itself, and on a furniture-fitted unit it means drawing the cabinet out. Call at once if water is reaching electrical equipment sharing the same enclosure, and unplug that equipment first.
