The short answer
A Beko WTE leak that appears only while the machine is filling, and only from underneath rather than at the door, usually comes from inside the detergent dispenser housing. Water enters the machine through that housing on its way to the drum, and the short hose that carries it down to the tub is a common failure point that nothing outside the machine reveals.
What you observe
- Water underneath, during the fill only — The dispenser outlet hose inside the cabinet.
- Foam and water at the front during the fill — The drawer overflowing - dose or a blocked siphon.
- Water at the front during the wash, without foam — The door boot, usually torn at its lowest point.
- Water under the middle after a cycle — The pump filter cap, the pump housing or the sump hose.
- NEAR MISS - the drum stays full — That is drainage; the drainage page covers it.
Causes, most likely first on this family
- Dispenser outlet hose or its clip — First for a leak confined to the fill that shows underneath rather than at the door.
- Torn or perished door boot — Second, and the leading mechanical leak on any front-loader.
- Drawer overflowing — Third, from over-dosing or a siphon blocked with residue.
- Pump filter cap not seated — Fourth, and very common right after the filter was cleaned.
- Supply hose connection weeping — Last, and the only leak that runs with the machine switched off.
Check in this order, and why
- Dry the floor and watch a fill from start to finish — First, because a leak confined to the fill points somewhere quite different from one after the cycle.
- Note whether the water appears at the front or underneath — Second. Underneath during the fill points inside the cabinet rather than at the drawer.
- Pull the drawer out and clear the housing and siphon — Third, and free.
- Open the door boot at its lowest fold and inspect it — Fourth. Grit, coins and a tear are visible without tools.
Before you open anything
Safety
Unplug the machine before removing any panel, and close both taps before disturbing a hose. Mop before working: water and a live appliance on a hard floor is a shock risk. Never run the machine with a panel removed to watch for a leak, and replace rather than re-use a supply hose whose fitting has cracked.

When to call a technician
