The short answer
Water around Avanti URBCD is nearly always the cabinet's own condensate taking the wrong path, not a plumbing leak — most models in this family are not plumbed at all. The glass door is a large, poorly insulated surface, so ambient conditions in the room reach the load far more directly than they would in a solid-door machine. Where the water appears tells you which path it took, and that is the fastest route to the cause.
What you observe on these models
- Water inside the cabinet, at the bottom — Condensate that could not leave.
- Water on the floor at the front — Either the cabinet is leaning forward or the water came over an interior lip.
- Water on the floor at the back — That is the machine bay and the pan in it.
- A steady clean drip rather than an occasional pool — Clean and steady suggests a supply connection on a plumbed model.
- NEAR MISS — oily fluid at the machine bay — That is not water.
Causes, most likely first on URBCD
- Condensation at the door — A door that no longer seals condenses room moisture on the cold face and drips. The tell is water that is worst along one edge and after a humid day. A large glass door in a humid room condenses on the outside as well as the inside, and both get reported as leaks. Check in this order, and why that order
- Map the water before touching anything — Dry everything, put paper towel at the front, the back and inside the base, and come back in a day. Knowing where it arrives eliminates most of the list.
- Put a level on the cabinet, front to back — A cabinet leaning the wrong way defeats a drain that is otherwise perfectly clear. This is the cheapest cause and the most frequently skipped check.
- Inspect the pan in the machine bay — Cracked, displaced after a move, or simply full. On a cabinet of this size the pan can usually be lifted out and looked at.
- Check the door seal all the way round — Condensation follows a bad seal, and a seal that produces ice in winter produces water in summer. Same fault, different season.
