Pressure sensor error

Access the pressure sensor (water level sensor) — on LG front-loaders it is mounted on the top of the cabinet near the rear wall
Check the small rubber air hose running from the outer tub to the pressure sensor — disconnect and blow gently through it to confirm it is clear
Look for cracks, splits, or detachment at either end of the pressure hose — detergent residue can harden and block the hose over time
Test the pressure sensor electrically — LG frequency-based sensors should output a varying frequency when air pressure is applied to the hose port
If the sensor and hose test OK, check the main board connector for the pressure sensor input — corrosion or loose pins will give intermittent PE codes
Pro Diagnostic Tip
The LG pressure transducer outputs a frequency between 21-28 kHz depending on water level. If you have an oscilloscope or frequency counter, you can verify the transducer output in real-time. A flat-line output regardless of water level confirms transducer failure vs. a hose issue.
