The short answer

- Second: dry the gasket, shut the door for an hour, then feel it again — A gasket that is wet again is telling you where the humid air is getting in, which is the top-ranked cause here.
- Third: put a level across the top, front to back — It is checked early because every internal drain assumes gravity points where the designer expected.
What an owner can safely check
- Inspect the gasket along its whole length — Wash it, dry it and look for a section that stays flat when the door shuts. A gasket that is wet on the inside is telling you where the humid air is getting in.
