The short answer
Small Kinbor cabinets are noisier than their size suggests because the compressor is bolted to a thin box with nothing to damp it. Unplug the appliance or switch off its breaker before reaching behind any panel or near a fan — a capacitor can hold a charge after the power is off, and a fan can start without warning. When to call a technician
