Sixteen procedures, and what stands out is that every one of them is electric — there is no gas work in this hub. The cooking surface holds the coil burner element and its receptacle, the infinite switch that sets power level, a dual-ring radiant element, a glass-top surface element, drip pans and cooktop cleaning. The oven holds the bake element and its troubleshooting guide, the temperature sensor, the convection fan motor, the door gasket, the selector switch, a control board relay and a control-board capacitor.
An electric-only set makes the diagnosis unusually clean, because a burner either receives voltage or it does not. A dead surface element is therefore worked backwards through the receptacle and the infinite switch before the element is replaced, and the dual-ring guide adds the wrinkle that only half an element may have failed. Uneven oven heating starts at the temperature sensor: a sensor reading high underbakes exactly like a bake element with a broken section, and one costs far less than the other.
With no gas line the whole boundary is electrical, and it is real. The burner receptacle carries 240 volts and is a common scorch point, which is why it is replaced rather than repaired. The control board relay and capacitor are the other stop: board-level work with the range powered is not homeowner territory. Frigidaire range and cooktop repairs are handled by EasyBear across Sacramento and the Bay Area.

All Frigidaire Stove How-to guides#
Fixing Uneven Heating in a Frigidaire Oven
Intermediate guide to diagnosing a Frigidaire oven that bakes unevenly: measuring the variation, testing the temperature sensor and bake element, checking the convection fan and door gasket, and calibrating.
Frigidaire Electric Range: Replace Drip Pans
Replace worn or damaged drip pans (drip bowls) on Frigidaire electric coil-burner ranges. Covers sizing, material options, proper fit, and testing.
Frigidaire Range Control Board: Replace Relay
Desolder and replace a failed element relay on a Frigidaire range control board. Advanced solder work covering relay diagnosis, exact-spec match, and safe testing.
Frigidaire Range: Replace Burner Receptacle
Replace a burned or melted burner receptacle on a Frigidaire coil-top range when one burner will not heat or arcs. Covers lifting the cooktop, wire terminals, and part numbers.
Frigidaire Range: Replace the Infinite Switch
Replace a failed infinite (surface-burner control) switch on a Frigidaire electric range when a burner only runs on high or will not heat. Covers wire mapping and switch testing.
Frigidaire Range: Replacing a Coil Burner Element
Beginner 2-5 minute guide to replacing a plug-in coil burner element on a Frigidaire electric range: sizing the element, pulling the old one, checking the receptacle, and testing the new coil.
Frigidaire Range: Replacing Oven Selector Switch
Intermediate 40-minute guide to replacing the oven selector switch on a Frigidaire range when one cooking mode stops working: labeling the wires, swapping the switch, and testing every mode.
How to Clean a Frigidaire Glass Cooktop
Remove burnt food, mineral haze, and pot marks from a Frigidaire glass-ceramic cooktop without scratching or etching it. A stain-by-stain guide plus the razor rule that keeps it clear.
How to Replace a Frigidaire Oven Bake Element
Replace a burned-out lower bake element in a Frigidaire oven when it will not heat or bakes unevenly. A beginner job of terminal disconnection, part matching, and reinstallation.
How to Replace Frigidaire Oven Temperature Sensor
A Frigidaire oven throwing F30 or F31, or drifting off temperature, usually needs a new RTD sensor. How to test it against the resistance table and swap it in under 15 minutes.
How to Replace Frigidaire Range Oven Door Gasket
Uneven baking or a hot oven exterior on a Frigidaire range points to a worn door gasket. Identify the clip or plug-in style, reseat from the top center, and verify the seal.
How to Troubleshoot Frigidaire Stove Bake Element
Diagnose a Frigidaire oven that broils but won't bake. Test the 316075103 bake element, supply voltage, temperature sensor, door interlock, and control board relay in order.
Repair Frigidaire Oven Convection Fan Motor
A scraping Frigidaire convection fan usually means a heat-warped blade, not just a dead motor. How the airflow path works and how to pull, inspect, and replace the assembly.
Replace Frigidaire Range Control-Board Capacitor
Board-level capacitor repair on a Frigidaire range control board: spotting a bulged or leaking cap, safe discharge, desoldering, and matching the 470uF 25V value.
Troubleshoot Frigidaire Dual-Ring Radiant Element
When only the inner ring of a Frigidaire expandable radiant element heats, the fault is the outer-ring element or its expansion switch/relay. Here is how to isolate it.
Troubleshoot Frigidaire Glass-Top Surface Element
Diagnose a dead Frigidaire glass-top burner step by step — element, infinite switch, or control board — with resistance and voltage tests.
