Twenty-six guides, the largest set in this hub group, and it is shaped by direct drive. There is no belt: the drive stator, the rotor assembly and the rotor position sensor each have their own procedure, with tub bearings behind them. The water group covers the boot seal and drain pump, the drain pump filter, the drain hose, the tub-to-pump hose, the inlet valve and the pressure switch. Suspension springs, shock absorbers, a spider arm inspection, the door lock assembly, the control board and an error-code guide complete it.
Error codes are the front door here, and they route to the right group instead of to a parts list. A drainage code sends you to the pump filter, then the tub-to-pump hose, then the pump. A machine that will not spin properly is a direct-drive question and belongs with the rotor position sensor before the stator is suspected. The spider arm inspection is the one to read when a front-loader has begun to rumble on spin, because a corroded arm is what tub bearings and shocks get blamed for.
Two stops on this machine. The door lock assembly is an interlock, so it is replaced rather than defeated — it is what keeps a drum with water in it from opening. The stator and control board are the other, both live and both expensive to guess at. Filters, hoses and springs, by contrast, are approachable. EasyBear services LG washers throughout Sacramento and the Bay Area.
