A screw that spins on forever has already pulled its thread out, and turning it further only polishes the damage.
Anything you took off the door goes back with the door supported. The door carries a counterbalance spring so it falls open slowly instead of dropping, and that balance is calculated against the weight of a complete door. A door part-way reassembled is lighter than the spring expects, so it can snap upward when released; a door with its outer panel off but its inner assembly loaded can swing down hard. Support it by hand through the whole job rather than trusting whichever way it happened to behave last time.
Restore the water before the power, and give it a moment on its own. Open the supply valve under the sink with the breaker still off, then look at the fitting and the hose run under a load of real pressure. A joint that seeps does so immediately, and finding it while the machine is dead and still pulled out is far easier than finding it afterwards. Only then put the breaker back on, and if you own the meter this brand's list assumes, confirm the machine reads live before you close the cabinet up.
Push the unit back slowly and watch the hose and cable go in with it. Anything that snags will do so behind the machine where you cannot see it, and a supply line kinked against a cabinet wall is a slow failure that will look like something else entirely in six months.
