Six LG oven codes are decoded here, and two of them are keypad faults with different consequences. F0 is a shorted clear or off key, and F1 is a shorted key that also costs relay protection, which is why it is treated as the more serious of the pair. F3 is an open oven temperature sensor, F2 combines a door latch fault with an over-temperature condition, F9 is the door lock circuit alone, and F11 is a communication error where the serial link between the display and the relay board has dropped.
F2 is the code that decides the order of everything else, because it can be reported for two different reasons and only one of them is urgent: a latch that will not drive is inconvenient, while an oven heating past its ceiling with a stuck relay is not. The guides therefore ask what the RTD probe reads before touching the latch. F11 is worked at the connector between boards, since heat cycling cold-cracks a joint that then behaves like a failed board. F3 is settled with a meter at the sensor plug.
When an over-temperature is in play, the breaker is the reliable stop rather than the display, because a relay that has welded closed keeps the element energised whatever the panel shows. The relay board, the control and the cavity harness all sit at line voltage behind the rear panel, and a gas model adds a supply line to the same compartment. A door locked over a hot cavity is best left to cool. EasyBear services LG ovens and ranges across Sacramento and the Bay Area.
