Beko dishwashers report faults as short E-codes, and three of them are decoded here. E02 is a heating fault: the water is not reaching temperature because the flow-through heater has failed, a thermal cut-out has tripped, or the wiring to it is damaged. E03 is drainage — a clogged sump filter or coarse strainer, a kinked hose, or a blocked air gap or disposer inlet. E04 is the anti-flood system: a leak has reached the base tray and lifted the float switch, or an inlet valve is stuck open and the sump is filling faster than it empties.
Three codes make for a short index but not a shallow one, because two of the three overlap in what a reader should check first. E03 and E04 can both be produced by the same neglected filter — one because water cannot leave, the other because it went somewhere it should not. Each guide therefore opens with the visible, reversible checks: strainer out, hose run traced, base tray felt for water. Only after those does it name the part the code accuses, and it says plainly which of the causes are common and which are outliers.
E04 is the one to treat as urgent rather than annoying, because the float is doing its job: something is leaking, and running the cycle again pushes more water into the base. A dishwasher carries line voltage into a wet cabinet, which is why the supply is switched off before a sump gasket or door seal is disturbed. The other two are approachable if the parts are reachable. When they are not, EasyBear services Beko dishwashers across Sacramento and the Bay Area.
