Nine parts guides for a Miele oven, and they sort into a door group and a heat group. The door group is the latch, the gasket and the switch — the parts that decide whether the cavity is sealed and whether the appliance believes it is. The heat group is the heating element, the igniter, the temperature sensor, the thermostat and the convection fan. The control board sits behind both.
The door group deserves the first look whenever the complaint is about temperature, which is not the intuitive order. A gasket that has hardened lets heat escape for the whole cycle, and an oven that loses heat continuously behaves exactly like one whose element is failing. The latch has its own symptom, which is a self-clean cycle that will not begin. Only after the door is ruled out do the sensor and the heat source matter, and there the sensor is measured before the element or igniter is condemned.
Two limits, set by the heat path. On a gas oven the supply connection is the handover point, since the risk is a leak. On an electric one the element circuit runs at 240 volts and its terminals stay live while the appliance is powered, so the breaker comes off rather than the control. The board is diagnosed, not probed. EasyBear services Miele ovens in Sacramento and throughout the Bay Area.

All Miele Oven Parts guides#
Miele Oven Control Board Replacement Guide
Replace the ELP control board on a Miele H-series oven. M-Touch and Moisture Plus boards need service-tool initialization — and the board survives 900°F self-clean heat.
Miele Oven Door Latch Replacement Guide
Replace the motorized self-clean door latch on a Miele oven: how it interacts with SoftClose hinges, the pyrolytic lock, the OEM parts reality, and the replacement procedure.
Miele Oven Fan Replacement Guide
Replace the convection fan motor on a Miele H-series oven. Diagnose uneven baking and bearing noise, check the blade first, and use genuine Torx Plus tools.
Miele Oven Gasket Replacement Guide
Replace the door gasket on a Miele H-series oven — the fiberglass-and-silicone seal that contains pyrolytic heat and smoke, its door-frame channel mount, and a tool-free swap.
Miele Oven Heating Element Replacement Guide
Replace a heating element on a Miele oven: how the bake, broil, and circular convection elements differ, why matching the right one matters, and the OEM replacement steps.
Miele Oven Igniter Replacement Guide
Replace the hot-surface igniter on a Miele gas oven. A weak igniter glows but will not draw enough current to open the gas valve — test amperage before replacing.
Miele Oven Sensor Replacement Guide
How to replace the NTC temperature sensor on a Miele H-series oven: symptoms of sensor drift, the cavity-vs-probe layout, a step-by-step swap, and when to call a pro.
Miele Oven Switch Replacement Guide
Replace a switch on a Miele H-series oven — the door switch, mains power switch, and pyrolytic lock switch — with symptom-to-switch diagnosis and Torx Plus tooling.
Miele Oven Thermostat Replacement Guide
Miele ovens use three thermal parts: the NTC sensor, the safety thermostat, and (on pyrolytic models) a one-shot thermal fuse. How to tell them apart, test them, and replace them.
