Twelve procedures cover both halves of a Bosch range. The cooking surface side holds uneven gas flames, glass cooktop cleaning, the electric cooktop element, the mechanical cooktop switch, and drip pans with grates and caps. The oven side holds the lower bake element, the convection fan motor, the temperature sensor, the oven selector switch, the door gasket, and a 25 volt capacitor on the control board. An electric range receptacle guide covers the supply itself.
Which half you are in decides everything about how to proceed. Uneven flames are a burner and orifice read — port blockage and cap seating first, gas pressure second — and nothing about it involves the oven cavity. Baking complaints move the other way: the temperature sensor is measured before the bake element is condemned, because a sensor reading high produces the same underbaked result as an element that has lost part of its length. Drip pans and cooktop cleaning need no diagnosis at all.
Two boundaries apply to this appliance rather than one. Gas work stops where the supply connection begins, since anything upstream of the burner is a leak risk rather than a repair task. The electric side stops at the range receptacle, which carries 240 volts, and at the control board capacitor, which is not a part to probe casually.
