Seven rows lean one way, which is itself the finding#
Of the eight components the two records share, seven show a higher share on the KitchenAid side. The compressor by 17 points, the wiring or power cord by 10, the ice maker by 6, the motor by 5, and three more by 1 or 2 points apiece.
A uniform lean across seven unrelated components is not seven findings. Two refrigerator brands do not usually differ in the same direction on the compressor, the ice maker, the wiring, the motor, the evaporator, the thermostat and the water valve at once. What produces a pattern like that is a difference in the records rather than in the machines: a smaller record whose reports named components more consistently will show higher shares almost everywhere.

The eighth row is the interesting one#
