Sensor drift — the common hardware fault#
Bosch ovens read cavity temperature with an NTC sensor that sits near 1,080 ohms at room temperature and drops as it heats. When the sensor drifts, it quietly feeds the board a wrong number and the oven settles perhaps twenty to fifty degrees off, usually with no error code. Measure it cold at the connector; a value well off the expected reading means a new sensor. If calibration can't close the gap, this is typically why.
Uneven, not just off#
If one part of the oven scorches while another stays pale, look at the European Convection fan rather than the sensor. That mode relies on a rear element and fan to move heat around the cavity; a failing fan leaves hot and cold zones no calibration can fix.
