A spike against a staircase#
Read each column on its own before comparing them, because the shapes are the story here.
KitchenAid's record spikes. Its control board takes 8%, 31 filings, and its second row — the igniter at 3% — is less than half of that. Below the igniter, two rows sit together at 2% and then the column ends.
Whirlpool's record descends evenly. Its control board takes 6%, 41 filings, then the heating element at 4%, the igniter at 4%, the wiring or power cord at 3% and the thermostat or sensor at 1%. Each step down is a point or so, and four components carry real weight.
So the two records agree about what comes first and disagree about how much else there is. That is a difference in structure, and it does not depend on any single row being measured precisely.
The individual gaps are small and consistent#
