Clogged filter / water level sensor

Remove the bottom rack and turn the cylindrical filter assembly counterclockwise to remove it. Clean all food debris from both the fine mesh filter and the coarse filter
With the filter removed, use a sponge to clean the filter well area at the bottom of the dishwasher tub. Check for broken glass or hard debris that may block the drain path
Locate the water level sensor float (a small plastic dome near the front-left of the tub floor). Lift it up and down — it should move freely. Clean any debris underneath that prevents it from floating properly
If the filter is clean and the float moves freely, the pressure switch or turbidity sensor may be faulty. These are accessed by removing the lower access panel beneath the door
Pro Diagnostic Tip
Samsung dishwasher 1E codes after a recent kitchen renovation are almost always caused by construction debris (plaster dust, sawdust) in the filter. A thorough vinegar rinse cycle (2 cups on the top rack, empty machine, hot cycle) clears the residue.
