Identifying drain pump vibration: The vibration occurs only during drain cycles (higher-pitched motor sound, water evacuating). Stops immediately when the drain pump shuts off.

Sustained vibration accelerates failure of several components:

Door latch micro-switches: Vibration causes intermittent contact in the latch assembly (4027ED3002A), resulting in random mid-cycle stops. If your LG dishwasher both vibrates and stops randomly, address the vibration as the root cause.
