Continuous clicking with everything off means a spark switch behind one of the knobs has stuck closed and is keeping the module energized — try nudging each knob and see if the click stops. Clicking that only happens while a burner is on, and stops once you turn it off, points instead at that burner's cap or a wet electrode.
Step 2 — dry the burner#
If the clicking tracks with a burner being on, moisture is the likely cause. Cooking steam and boil-overs leave water around the electrode, and the spark grounds to it instead of lighting the gas. Remove the grate, cap, and head, dry everything, and give the electrode a few minutes before relighting.

Step 3 — reseat the cap#
Set the burner cap back flat and centered. A cap that sits crooked pushes gas away from the electrode, so the range keeps clicking as it fails to catch. Spin the cap to confirm it is level and stable on the head.
Step 4 — inspect the electrode#
Look closely at the ceramic electrode for a crack or a dark carbon track. A damaged electrode leaks its spark to ground and produces relentless clicking until it is swapped out. Clean a lightly fouled tip; replace a cracked one.
