Five Haier washer codes are covered, and they follow water through the machine. E1 is a drum that did not fill in time: taps closed or restricted, inlet screens clogged, or a failed valve. E2 is the reverse, water that was not pumped out in time, usually a drain filter matted with lint and coins or a standpipe set too high. E3 is an overflow — a valve stuck open, a failed pressure sensor, or a pressure hose blocked or split. E4 is a heating fault, and E6 is the drive motor, including a speed sensor that has stopped reporting.
Three of these five can be provoked by installation rather than by a part, and the guides check that first: hose height, tap position, and screen condition decide E1, E2 and part of E3 before anything is unbolted. E3 is separated from a genuine valve failure by the pressure hose, since a blocked or split hose makes a healthy sensor report a full tub. E6 asks whether the drum turns freely by hand, because a seized bearing loads a motor that is itself perfectly good.
An overflow code with a stuck inlet valve is a reason to close the taps rather than clear the display, because the fill does not stop when the code is acknowledged. The heater and the motor control both sit at line voltage behind panels that also carry water, and the drum bearing is not a first repair. No gas, no refrigerant, and no sealed circuit appears anywhere in this set. EasyBear repairs Haier washers across Sacramento and the Bay Area.
