F0, F1 and F7 all describe pads the electronic range control reads as held — a stuck membrane, a worn overlay, a ribbon cable that has lost contact — while F5 and F8 point at the ERC board itself. F2 is an over-temperature, F3 is an oven RTD sensor read as open, F4 is the same sensor read as shorted, F9 is the door lock circuit, and FD is a shorted meat probe, often a contaminated jack rather than the probe.

On this platform the ribbon cable between the keypanel and the ERC is a recurring answer, so the guides check it before either end is replaced: a panel and a board that cannot talk behave like a panel that has failed. F3 and F4 accuse one sensor from opposite readings, and both are proved at the rear plug with a meter rather than by swapping parts. FD is settled by unplugging the probe and seeing whether the code leaves with it, which costs nothing and eliminates the expensive answer immediately.

F2 is the entry that changes the priority. An over-temperature reported while a relay is stuck closed means the oven can keep heating with the display saying otherwise, and on a self-clean cycle the door is locked over that. The breaker is the dependable stop. Behind the rear panel the sensor harness and ERC are at line voltage, and a gas range puts a supply line in the same compartment.
