Electrolux Washer E11: Fill Volume Insufficient for LuxCare

LuxCare and Fill Precision

Electrolux LuxCare wash motion uses adaptive drum patterns that vary with water level. The system requires precise fill-level data from the pressure sensor to select the correct drum pattern. E11 fires when the fill level does not reach the LuxCare minimum within the timeout, meaning the drum pattern algorithm cannot function.

On Frigidaire washers, E11 simply means the tub did not fill. On Electrolux, E11 additionally implies the LuxCare system detected that the actual fill level is too low for any programmed pattern to operate effectively.

Causes

Same fundamental causes as Frigidaire E11: closed supply valves, clogged inlet screens, failed inlet valve solenoid, kinked hoses, or low household pressure. But Electrolux's tighter fill-level requirement means marginal conditions that Frigidaire tolerates may trigger E11 on Electrolux.

Diagnosis

Same diagnostic sequence: check valves, screens, hoses, pressure. Additionally, on Electrolux, verify the pressure tube routing. The tube must maintain a continuous slope from the tub connection to the sensor. Detergent residue in the tube is more common on Electrolux due to the SmartBoost premix introducing dissolved detergent into the system earlier in the cycle.
