SmartBoost Dependency on Water Flow
Electrolux washers with SmartBoost technology premix detergent with water before the fill cycle begins. SmartBoost requires a minimum flow rate through a dedicated premix chamber. If flow is inadequate, the premix cannot dissolve detergent properly, and the board may register E10 before the main tub fill even begins.

Diagnosis
- Verify both hot and cold supply faucets are fully open behind the washer.
- Disconnect fill hoses at the machine. Check mesh screens inside the valve ports for sediment.
- Start a fill: listen for the solenoid click and water rushing. No click = valve not receiving power. Click without water = valve stuck or supply issue.
Repair
Clogged screens: pull with pliers, rinse, reinstall. Dead solenoid: replace inlet valve 137353500 ($30-$65). Kinked hose: straighten or replace.

SmartBoost Premix Chamber
If E10 appears specifically during the SmartBoost premix phase (first 30 seconds of the cycle), the premix chamber inlet may be restricted separately from the main fill. Access the premix chamber from behind the top panel. Clear any residue blocking the chamber inlet.
