Re-pair Home Connect step by step#
Start in the appliance menu: open Remote Start or Home Connect and choose Connect to network. Pick automatic and press the router WPS button within the countdown, or choose manual and type the network key exactly, capital letters and all. Then open the Home Connect app, add the appliance, and scan or enter the pairing code it shows. Keep client isolation off, the network broadcasting, and your phone on the 2.4 GHz band while you do this — if WPS keeps timing out, manual key entry is the more dependable route.
Once it is on, separate the app from the machine. If the appliance pairs, shows online, and still throws an error or misbehaves, that is a hardware or error-code fault rather than a connection problem, and the app is only relaying it. Why does Home Connect WPS pairing keep failing?#
